Chepe Train

The CHEPE train journey starts in Chihuahua City, taking travelers every day into the famous Copper Canyon area; known to be one of the 10 most spectacular train rides in the world, it covers over 400 miles, going through 37 bridges and 86 tunnels between Chihuahua and Los Mochis; enjoy breathtaking scenarios from the comfort of a reclining seat, AC/heat controlled climate, along with food and beverage services on board. It is highly recommended to spend at least two days at its magical towns of Creel and Batopilas; continue to Divisadero, which offers great lodging and an amazing Adventure Park with cable car rides, ziplines, a via ferrata and other outdoor activities. There are also high chances to have contact with the native Rarámuri, one of the most primitive tribes in North America.

The Chepe offers world class service in its Express class covering from Creel to Los Mochis. First and economy run every other day from Chihuahua to Los Mochis. Just remember that, there are still not paved roads connecting us with the norther part of the State of Sinaloa, and the train is still the only mean of public transportation in one of the most beautiful and pristine areas of Mexico.

Copper Canyon Park Aventure

At the Chihuahuan ravines, in the immense territory of the Copper Canyon, it´s easy to take a geology living lesson. The richness of its flora and fauna, the archaeological vestiges, a considerable number of abandoned old mines, the immense opportunities for mountaineering, the majestic beauty of its landscapes and the possibilities of learning about local native cultures are enough attractions to register this area in the world map of Adventure Tourism.

The attractions are world-class; there is a restaurant/bar with crystal floors; take a ride in the third longest cable car in the world without intermediate towers; enjoy a circuit of 7 zip lines, the longest of them with 3,651 feet with more than 1,313 feet deep; two hanging bridges; the via ferrata including rappel, rock climbing, hanging bridges and a Tarzan jump; enjoy mountain biking with circuits for beginners, intermediate and advanced and at last; the longest zip rider in the world, with 8,695 feet long, which, in just 10 seconds, will reach speeds of more than 60 miles per hour.
