TN Coopers, New Partner of the México Selection by CMB

The México Selection by CMB is strengthened with the integration of TN Coopers as Official Collaborator 2025. This alliance represents a new step in reinforcing the competition as a platform of excellence, by incorporating a partner whose philosophy blends innovation, science, and tradition.

Since its creation in 2017, the México Selection by CMB, presented by Audi, has been the Mexican itinerant edition of the prestigious Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, one of the world’s most respected wine and spirits competitions. Year after year, this event travels across various wine and spirits-producing regions of the country to assess the excellence of local products under strict quality standards. More than just a contest, it has become a strategic platform to showcase Mexico’s rich oenological heritage and vast diversity of spirits, promoting their global projection with professional criteria and a strong commitment to regional development.

In this context, TN Coopers joins as a natural ally. This family-owned cooperage, with a solid international presence, conceives the barrel not as a mere container, but as a medium to express complexity and character through careful woodwork and technical knowledge. This vision has positioned TN Coopers as a benchmark in the manufacture of barrels and alternative oak products —French, American, European, and exotic woods—always guided by principles of sustainability and excellence.

From the beginning, TN Coopers has also focused on supporting and advising its clients, building relationships of trust that go beyond commercial dealings. This mission is reflected in every detail: from its patented convection toasting software to the ongoing development of new products and its ability to adapt to the specific challenges of each wine and spirits producer.

TN Coopers’ participation as Official Collaborator of the México Selection by CMB 2025 will not only enrich the technical dimension of the event but will also open new opportunities for knowledge exchange among producers, winemakers, tasters, and experts in wine and spirits. Their presence reaffirms the competition’s mission to build strong networks among all industry players and to contribute to a culture of quality that looks to the future without losing sight of identity and origin.

About the México Selection by CMB

The México Selection by CMB, presented by Audi, Chihuahua 2025, is organized by the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, a competition recognized as the most important global benchmark for wine and spirits quality.

The international nature of its tasting panel gives the México Selection by CMB, presented by Audi, the highest guarantees of professionalism, independence, and integrity, as a seal of excellence in its competition results.

To be held from November 19th to 21st, 2025, in the state of Chihuahua, the México Selection by CMB aims to highlight the qualities of Mexican wines and spirits by region of origin, in both the domestic and international markets, while also promoting healthy competition to raise qualitative standards from within their own denominations of origin.

The tasting juries, recognized for their international experience and expertise as tasters, will evaluate the participating samples strictly blind, according to the rules established by the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.

More Than a Blind Tasting

The México Selection by CMB, presented by Audi, is much more than a blind tasting. Its main objective is to foster dialogue and create a meeting point for the creators of Mexico’s wine and spirits industry. It also seeks to create a reliable quality seal for consumers, offer producers a promotional tool recognized by the industry and the general public, and promote both the host region and the organization’s local partners.

All products are evaluated following a rigorous tasting methodology, where absolute anonymity is the fundamental principle. Tastings are conducted strictly blindly, and judges never see the sample bottles before or during evaluation. This ensures that products are assessed solely on their quality, awarding medals to the best regardless of origin, price, packaging, or label.

Likewise, the México Selection by CMB, presented by Audi, guarantees the diversity of its judging panel each year, always seeking to include a multidisciplinary team of experts in wine—journalists, winemakers, sommeliers, buyers, distillers, and media representatives—who are all dedicated to the world of wine and spirits at a global level.

These two key factors, combined with a rigorous system that verifies the control documents of each registered product, guarantee the complete independence of the results. Furthermore, the México Selection by CMB, presented by Audi, always adheres to awarding a maximum of 30% of medals to participating products.
